Existing portable monitors are typically for individual use, and there is a need for a display device that provides continuous and visible heat index information for a broader audience.

The Heat Index Indicator Display utilizes OSHA’s heat index formula to calculate and showcase the current heat index level through LED lights. Each LED is accompanied by a description of OSHA’s recommended actions for the corresponding heat index level. The device is user-friendly, requiring no external references, and is designed for easy wall or display placement. It eliminates the need for manual heat index readings, making it accessible to anyone.
